SKI JUMPING PARTY AT MY PLACE
Jan 31st
Guest post from: Natalie Walter
I upgraded our television package at http://www.direct.tv/direct-tv-packages.html. Now, I am going to be able to watch the ski jumping World Cup broadcasted live from Deer Valley, Utah and I just can’t wait. I love to watch ski jumping, partly because I feel like I would never be able to do anything like that. I am certainly not graceful on skis and I am also terrified of heights. I think to get into ski jumping you have to start when you are a little kid. You have to be fearless. When you start as a young fearless More >
Making the Switch
Dec 31st
Thanks for the guest post by Eugene Fulton
When I decided that I needed to make a change in my cable service, I was lucky to find Cable TV Advisor. I went to their site and found so much good information about Directv. I knew I needed to make a change because I was not happy with the service I had. It was way too expensive and didn’t offer many of the things I was looking for. I have always loved HBO and Showtime, and with cable, I just couldn’t afford to have them. I was sick of feeling like I was More >
Getting TV
Sep 21st
Guest written by our friend Katie Callahan
My sons have been trying to convince me for the longest time that we need cable at home but I don’t really get what the big deal is. I mean, they’ve got the internet for when they need to look something up and I honestly was just worried they were going to start spending all of their time watching MTV and other shows I didn’t approve of. They pointed me to some Hickory Nc Deals they found online, though, and told me that all they really wanted to watch was college football like all their More >

Do you guys ever watch anything on A&E? I had never really watched the network before I got satellite because it didn’t come with my cable but ever since I got that Http://Direct.TV package it’s all my tv ever has on it. There are a lot of human interest shows on there and some of them get kind of dark, but I think it’s all pretty interesting from a psychological perspective. I really like that show “Hoarders” and there’s another one called “The First 48” which is like a totally real life version of a crime show More >
Audio Technology That Makes You Look Like A Pro
Feb 14th
Whether you have talent or not technology today can make you look like a pro online. You may not be the next undiscovered American Idol but then again who knows. The only way you will know is to try and let the world know about it. With today’s technology anyone can get known online for their talent or the lack of. One huge obstacle for aspiring singers, dancers and actors has been their lack of capital for promotion. Now with technology available anyone can promote themselves and go viral in less than one day.

Movin’ On Up with my DVR
Jan 12th
Guest post written by Derick Burks
I overheard the people at work talking about watching their favorite shows om satellite TV from direc4u.com with their DVR. I inquired what this DVR thing was that they kept going on about. When they explained it to me, I just had to have one. Working second shift worked great with everything else in my life. However, when it came to the shows that I had always loved to watch, I had to miss out. It was a real bummer. When I heard about the DVR, I was so happy. There was a way for me More >

You may have finally found your niche or honed your talent but in order for the world to know who you are, is raw talent enough? Well the Christmas season is upon us and it is time to shop for your family’s Christmas presents. If you are like most families there is one or two gadget freaks to buy for. Georgia Bulldogs

Guest post from: Bruno Smith
There are over 200 NCAA College Football Teams. Only a handful of them get a chance to play for the NCAA Championship. Although the BCS Rankings screw a lot of teams out of the championship, 9 times out of 10, the right team plays for the championship. The BCS tries to find the top 2 teams to participate in the BCS Championship game, and if they wanted to get the top teams in their, they would always choose the Georgia Bulldogs. No game that the Bulldogs play at home in Sanford Stadium or away makes the viewers More >
